Ship model CUTTY SARK
Clipper and it is now famous old sailing boat school service Greenwich.
Built for the first time in 1869, it is one of the fastest sailboats known to the world, sailing from England to China and Australia.
Its architect, Hercules Linton, had the ambition to beat the Termopylae regarded as the fastest ship in the world.
Its length was 85.34 m, width 10.97 m, a draft of 6.4 m and had a displacement of 2,133 tonnes.
