Product description : Panther Ausf.A
The Panzerkampfwagen V Panther was designed to counter the Soviet T-34 and KV-1 tanks which outclassed the now outdated Panzer IIIs and Panzer IVs on the Eastern Front. Powered by a 700 horsepower Maybach V12 engine, it was armed with the KwK 42 75 mm gun which was very effective against enemy armour. Well protected with its sloped armor, mobile, fast and well armed, the Panther can be considered one of the best tanks of the Second World War.
