Product description : Leopard 2 A4 - War thunder series
Entering service between the late 1970s and early 1980s, the Leopard 2 is considered one of the best armoured combat vehicles in the world. Developed to provide the German Bundeswehr with a powerful and modern battle tank capable of replacing the Leopard 1, the Leopard 2 is armed with a 120 mm Rheinmetall L/55 cannon. Although heavily armoured, it is capable of reaching considerable speeds (over 65 km/h) and can move with agility on any type of terrain. The Leopard 2 has been constantly improved and updated. Among the most widespread versions, the A4 is characterised by the adoption of advanced firing systems and by its modernised armour with materials guaranteeing the highest level of protection.
