After the Char B1 bis (35282), the Somua S35 (35344) and the R35 (35373) it is the turn of the Hotchkiss H39 to enter the Tamiya 1/35 Military Miniatures series. This means that the main French tanks of the Second World War are now sumptuously reproduced at this scale by Tamiya! Before the Second World War in 1935, the French army had developed the H35 for cavalry units (light tanks) and in 1939 the improved version H39 appeared. With improved castings such as the hull and turret, the H39 was equipped with a 120hp engine and a 37mm L/33 gun. It was in service during the German occupation of Norway in 1940. After the French surrender, German forces recovered and "Germanized" many H39 tanks, which they deployed in various theaters of operation until the end of the conflict.• 1/35 scale model to assemble and paint.
