Heir to the Austrian throne, Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated on 28 June 1914 in Sarajevo. This event triggered the First World War. The author is Gavrilo  Princip, a member of the Black Hand Society.

This society was the result of a Serbian nationalist movement charged with regrouping Serbia as well as other Slavic states included in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The First World War soldier figurines make it possible to reconstruct the history and relive the epic battles of this international conflict.

Which historical figurines to paint for the Second World War?

The origin of the Second World War is the diktat imposed by the Treaty of Versailles. The expansionism of the Axis powers formed by Germany, Italy and Japan and the failure of the League of Nations were also among its main causes.
