Product description : Sherman M4A3E8 Fury
The M4 Sherman was the main assault tank used by the United States during World War II. Produced in very large numbers, it formed the backbone of American armored forces during this period. Several variants and sub-versions have emerged. Production of the M4A3E8 version began at the end of 1944. Nicknamed "Easy Eight", it benefited from several technical improvements which increased the operational efficiency of the Sherman. In addition to a 76mm M1 high velocity gun, it was characterized by the new Horizontal Volute Spring Suspension System (HVSS) capable of ensuring better driving conditions and guaranteeing higher speed. The “Easy Eight” participated in the final stages of the Second World War and took an active part in the Korean War.
