Product description : McLaren MP4/2C
The Mc Laren MP4/2 is one of the most successful cars in Formula 1 history, with the most victories to its credit. It made its debut in 1985, equipped with a Porsche TAG engine supercharged by two compressors, developing 850hp. It adopted more discreet aerodynamic solutions than on previous cars and compliant with the new regulations. From this first season, it enabled McLaren to win the constructors' title and the talented Alain Prost that of the drivers. In 1986, the improved MP4/2C version appeared at the wheel of which Alain Prost was again crowned drivers' world champion. During this season, he was joined in the team by another great F1 talent, the Finn Keke Rosberg. The MP4/2 is a true icon of F1 winning three World Drivers' Championships and two World Constructors' Championships. Laurent This product is typical of Italeri attention to detail which there is plenty of, sometimes the parts were over complicated which made them very fragile to handle and fix and in a few instances the part had become part of the spru which gave it's own challenges, overall a great kit with some minor issues *
