At the outbreak of the Second World War, Great Britain found itself unprepared to face this conflict and had to make up for the lack of equipment and means in a rapid manner.

With regard to motorcycles, used mainly for connections between departments and for order carriers, the famous DR "Dispatch Raiders", had to adapt to convert all 'military use civilian vehicles, with military coloring, which were added two metal frames where you can fix the hemp bags.

Triumph prepared this model in a great hurry, derived from the Tiger 80 model, with overhead valve engine and parallelogram fork.

This model of motorcycle immediately became operational on all fronts where the British Army was fighting, in Africa, Asia and Europe.

In the years immediately following the end of the conflict, many nations that received war material from the British Government, including Greece and Italy, had in their hands for a long period of time these bikes that proved to be robust and reliable, although very spartan, as indeed all the war material of British production.

To build a plastic motorcycle model, you'll need a few materials:
- a cutter or cutting pliers
- and model glue.
You can also paint the model with brushes(acrylic or enamel).
The model consists of different parts to cut and assemble.
Construction time will vary depending on the number of parts.
