SLC Maiale and Crew
Based on the experiences and successes of the Regia Marina Italiana in World War I, in 1935 Teseo Tesei and Elios Toschi designed and progressively perfected the Siluro a Lenta Corsa (S.L.C.) torpedo, which would be better known as the "Pig."
The torpedo modified to allow it to be guided underwater by two operators equipped with respirators was intended to carry a high explosive warhead under the keel of the moored ship.
The torpedoes had a limited speed and were equipped with a guidance system. The batteries that powered the electric motor provided a range of 12 to 15 miles.
The most famous feat of the Regia Marina's raiders occurred on December 19, 1941.
Carried by the submarine "Scirè," the S.L.C. sank the British Royal Navy's battleships H.M.S. Valiant and H.M.S. Queen Elisabeth in the port of Alexandria, Egypt.

The 1:35 scale is mainly used for military model tanks, guns and trucks and the corresponding figurines. The 1:35 scale model will be 35 times smaller than the actual tank. For example, if the vehicle is 5 m long, the model will measure 6 inches / 14.2 cm long (500/35 = 14.2). Figurines in the 1:35 scale are about 2 inches / 5 cm high.
