Reissue of kit 24032 (Honda Prelude XX originally released in 1983) with updated decals, instruction manual and box. The Prelude appeared in November 1978. Inheriting a front engine and front-wheel drive, the second generation model went on sale in November 1982. This evolution further improved the comfort and handling that characterized the first generation with the first anti-lock braking system (ABS) on a Japanese car and ventilated disc brakes on all four wheels. The engine was a 1,829cc SOHC inline-4, featuring Honda's exclusive branched port torch system, which used a 3-valve layout for higher compression. Its low bonnet, pop-up headlights on the nose and flush bodywork contributed significantly to the car's aerodynamics.• 1/24 scale model to assemble and paint.• Length: 180mm, width: 82mm, height: 53mm.• Perfectly reproduced aerodynamic body shapes.• Updated decal sheet featuring the car's front and rear emblems, wheel centre emblems and cabin speaker grilles.• New windscreen part, now transparent and no longer smoked as in the original kit.
