What is the Eurofighter Typhoon?

The Eurofighter Typhoon is a twin-engine, delta-wing, canard-plan, multi-role fighter aircraft developed by the UK, Germany, Italy and Spain in the Eurofighter GmbH consortium, which received its first production aircraft in 2004. Austria, Oman, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Qatar have also bought them, bringing the total number of orders to 661. By 28 February 2021, 571 Eurofighters had been delivered.
