What is the Dassault Rafale aircraft? 

The Dassault Aviation Rafale is an iconic model that was developed by the French Navy and Air Force in the late 1970s. Indeed, the French armed forces expressed their need for a multi-purpose fighter aircraft and thus will be launched: 

  • The Rafale A, which flew on July 4, 1986
  • The single-seat Rafale C, which flew on May 19, 1991
  • The marine version M, on December 12, 1991
  • The two-seater B, on April 30, 1993 

The Rafale models were built with delta wings and canard plans with electric flight controls. The aircraft are equipped with an RBE2 electronically scanned radar and two Snecma M88 engines. In terms of tactical bombing, the Dassault Rafale uses laser-guided bombs, cruise missiles, anti-ship missiles and nuclear missiles.

Which Rafale model aircraft to choose?

As for the Dassault Rafale M of the Italeri brand, it will delight you with its 4th generation fighter aircraft build. This new model takes over from the Mirage F1 and 2000 as well as the Etendard F-8 Crusader. It was used during operations in Libya in 2011.
