Die cast aircraft Caudron C.635 Simoun
The colors of Paris-Tokyo Raid in 1937, Dorel Crew-Micheletti.
Designed by Marcel Riffard he was introduced for the first time at the Paris Air Show 1934.
It was an immediate success, 70 units were built for the civilian market, and 110 copies for the Air Force, 29 for the Navy.Civilian career was the most prestigious sporting with many such raid Le Bourget-Antananarivo traveled between 18 and 21 December 1935, 8665 km done in just over 57 hours.
A fleet of six Simoun for regular postal transport by Air Blue.
The Simoun could carry 150 kg of cargo and two crew.
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and Prévot his mechanic were injured in an aircraft of this type on a flight to Indochina in 1935.
After a stopover in Tunis, then to Benghazi, they were lost in Egypt borders Libya and bumped a tray.

Scale : 1:24
The 1:24 scale is mainly used for models of cars, motorcycles and aircraft.
It allows a high level of detail.
For example, a motorcycle model in the 1:24 scale will measure 4 inches / 10.4 cm if the original motorcycle measures 2.5m in length (250/24 = 10.41).
A plane in the 1:24 scale will measure 1 foot 6 inches / 45cm in length if the aircraft model is 11m long (1100-1124 = 45.8).
