With these precision accessories, you can easily, quickly and realistically apply the patterns historically used to protect armored vehicles against magnetic mines between 1943 and 1944. Made from high-quality photo-etched steel, these combs are durable and perfectly sized for common scales (1/35, 1/48, etc.). Their variety of shapes and spacing allows for faithful application on all types of surfaces, from heavy tanks like the Tiger I to more compact vehicles like the StuG III.

Directions for use
Apply a thin layer of Zimmerit paste (approximately 0.7 mm for 1/35) to the surface of the model.
Allow 3 to 5 minutes to dry for the paste to gain firmness.
Use the appropriate comb to draw the pattern: pull the tool in a linear motion or alternate the orientation to create chevrons.
Lightly moisten the surface with an odorless enamel thinner (A.MIG-2019) to prevent the paste from sticking to the tool.
Allow the paste to dry completely before handling or painting (1 hour minimum).
