Lunopeth moths were tamed and enslaved millennia ago by the Weaver Courts. These nocturnal creatures have been bound to the Weavers for so long that they have become an integral part of their society. The rugged terrain and verticality of the Weaver domains lend themselves well to flying mounts. Their delicate bodies are not suited to the rigors of combat, but the Weavers have compensated for this by arming their riders with ranged weapons. Skiathan riders ride into battle armed with cleverly crafted crossbows they can fire while flying, harassing the enemy without exposing themselves to danger. Ciannir riders, on the other hand, hurl toxic pods containing awakened seeds at the enemy. They are equipped to protect themselves from the inevitable misfires as they hurl their deadly cargo through curved gauntlets into the heart of enemy ranks.

While the Sciathan riders draw on seeds, the Ciannir are the precision tool that wields them. Able to move swiftly behind enemy lines, their strength lies not in the damage inflicted by their hand crossbows, but in their ability to plant seeds exactly where they are needed, allowing the rest of the Weaver Courts army to unleash its full potential.
