Buffy the Vampire Slayer style fight against monsters on a daily basis (well on a weekly basis), roam the country in search of supernatural creatures like in Supernatural or lead surveys for an agency like the X-Files.
Monster of the Week is powered by Apocalypse, the system developed by Vincent Baker for his game Apocalypse World.
Adapted many times, it is based on simple concepts: the priorities and principles of the Guardian, as well as basic maneuvers.
These are the levers that allow you to manipulate everything else in the game.
The core book contains:
- Character creation rules to bring your hunter to life and create a tight-knit hunting team < br> - Eight simple maneuvers to investigate and face the monsters
- Mystery creation tools and two ready-to-play adventures
- New monsters, like Balkan vampires, werewolves ...
