Who is the manufacturer IELLO?
Iello is a French publisher of board games founded in 2004 in Nancy (Meurthe-et-Moselle) and whose founders are Patrice Boulet and Cédric Barbé.
Bearing the name Cartagogo in its early days, the company was limited at the time to the sale and distribution of collectible or playing card games. The Iello brand was born in 2008, with the objective of adapting the original board games to French culture. The first specimen was Neuroshima Hex in 2008. This new activity naturally leads to the publication of its own games.
In 2010, the firm launched its own game manufacturing line, the first of which was Marketed was King of Tokyo in 2011. In 2019, it acquires the Loki brand. Today, Iello is found on the majority of the segments of board games. She started as a distributor in 2010 and published both under her own brand as well as on behalf of other publishers. The best known are Ravensburger, Kosmos, CGE or Alea. In 2012, the brand created a distribution subsidiary in the United States called Iello USA.
