Military models are also available in this scale.
A model that is 1:48 scale is 48 times smaller than the real object.
For example, a model airplane in the 1:48 scale measures 13 inches / 31.25 cm long if the real object is 15 m (1500 cm).

A nice enhancement for a great kit. *
S. Jim Great stuff for super detailing the cockpit. By purchasing the aftermarket C-2 seat, I was able to take the Hasegawa kit seat and use it for a Revell CF-104. *
A. Anonymous Nice replacement for kit seat The new Airfix Hawker Hurricane is a nice kit, but it has some shortcomings. The molding on the seat is very basic, maybe because they expect you to install the pilot figure. I like to leave my cockpits open and display the interior. I purchased this seat for a project to have many panel lines open and it works because the detail is nice. The mold quality is sharp and the dimensions appear to be good. Have not tried to install it yet, so will have to report back actual performance. *
