About the character
The Ciel Phantomhive figure depicts the protagonist of Black Butler during the Public School arc. Ciel, heir to the Phantomhive family, saw his life turned upside down the day his parents were murdered. Captured and then tortured, he made a pact with the demon Sebastian Michaelis to find the culprits. Behind his fragile childlike appearance, he is manipulative, cold, and intelligent, conducting investigations for the Queen of England. In the Public School arc, he infiltrates a prestigious school to solve a disappearance, revealing his composure and calculating sense in a unique setting. About the License Black Butler (*Kuroshitsuji*), a manga created by Yana Toboso in 2006, is a classic of the dark fantasy genre. Set in a stylized Victorian England, the story features the young Count Ciel and his demonic butler Sebastian, bound by a supernatural contract. Together, they solve criminal cases for the queen while seeking revenge. The Public School arc explores the plots and rivalries within an elite establishment and remains a favorite among readers. The franchise is experiencing a resurgence in popularity thanks to a recent new animated adaptation, which faithfully revisits the main plots of the manga with a modernized visual quality.
