Military model Pz.Kpfw VI Tiger I
The German Fighting Vehicle VI Type E, commonly referred to as the Tiger I tank.
It was developed because German armored forces were surprised by the stubborn resistance of Soviet tanks, especially the T-34 and KV-1, in the months following the Soviet attack.
The Tiger I was the first tank to be fitted with an 88mm gun, the anti-aircraft version of which had already demonstrated excellent anti-aircraft and anti-armor capabilities.
During the war, the Tiger I was present in almost all German front-line battles. It was usually deployed in independent heavy combat vehicle brigades.
"The Tiger I was a powerful psychological deterrent to many adversaries, and its design was complex, using many expensive materials and production processes that took a great deal of time to produce.
As a result, only 1,347 units were built between August 1942 and August 1944.

The scale 1:16 is used for large figurines, but also for model cars and armored vehicles.
A 1:16 scale model will be 16 times smaller than the original.
For example, a car whose actual length is 4m will be 10 inches / 25 cm long in the 1:16 scale (400/16 = 25).
The figurines in the scale 1:16 are about 5 inches / 12cm high.
