The Henschel Hs 129 was a specialized ground attack aircraft, designed to fight enemy tanks and armored vehicles. The B-2 version was equipped with a 30 mm cannon, while the B-3 carried an impressive 75 mm cannon, in direct response to the Soviet tank threat on the Eastern Front. Their stocky silhouette and armor made them unique among Luftwaffe aircraft.
The Panther Ausf. A, meanwhile, is one of Nazi Germany's most iconic medium tanks. It combined firepower, sloped armor, and mobility, becoming feared by the Allies. This model, reproduced here in 1/48, is a coherent complement to the ground attack aircraft in the set, which often operated in support of these armored units.
