The 1:48 scale is the queen size scale for model planes.
Military models are also available in this scale.
A model that is 1:48 scale is 48 times smaller than the real object.
For example, a model airplane in the 1:48 scale measures 13 inches / 31.25 cm long if the real object is 15 m (1500 cm).

This is a quick and effective way to mask up canopies, a task that always takes me too much time and stress. I was initially put off by the cost, but now that I have used them think it is money well spent in reduction of tedious cutting of tape that never seems to be as straight as these masks are. Who is the manufacturer Eduard?
The history of eduard model accessories begins in 1989 in the city of Most, Czech Republic. Mr. Kurak and Vladimir Sulc embark on photo engraving and decide to sell it to stores. In 1990, the first photo engraving was born, it was the Su 25K model in 1/48 scale.
At first, the Czech manufacturer produced photo-engraved brass models before diversifying its range with plastic miniatures in 1993. In the same year, a large number of sets were marketed. Following the success of the first products, a production line opened its doors in 1991.
