This version of the Spitfire entered service in July 1942.
It was actually a version of transition, which lasted, a Mark V powered with Rolls-Royce Merlin 61 V-12-cylinder water-cooled, developing 1565 horsepower.
Armed with two Hispano 20mm cannon and four 12.7mm Browning machine guns.
It was produced more than 5000 copies ....
Model: L41x47cm, made of solid wood, carved and painted by hand.On Acacia wood plinth with engraved plaque.

Scale : 1:24
The 1:24 scale is mainly used for models of cars, motorcycles and aircraft.
It allows a high level of detail.
For example, a motorcycle model in the 1:24 scale will measure 4 inches / 10.4 cm if the original motorcycle measures 2.5m in length (250/24 = 10.41).
A plane in the 1:24 scale will measure 1 foot 6 inches / 45cm in length if the aircraft model is 11m long (1100-1124 = 45.8).
