God of War: Kratos and Atreus 1:10 Scale Statue Figurine

On the ruins of a frozen Nordic battlefield, the ruthless Greek demigod, once known as the Ghost of Sparta, leaps into battle holding his magic axe, Leviathan, with a furious expression on his pale face, marked with a red tattoo, to honor his brother. The statue of the Greek warrior features clothing more suited to the Scandinavian environment, far different from his Spartan origins, with his son and ally standing right beside him. The boy, who uses his father for support, jumps up and draws his bow to fire one of his electrified arrows. The Spartan warrior, Kratos, had many adventures in Greek times, such as avoiding the outbreak of major disasters and altering his fate. Endowed with a fierce and arrogant personality, he faced the gods of Olympus and ended up being manipulated by the god Ares. The result was that when Kratos discovered he was one of many sons of Zeus, he exacted revenge by killing his half-brother and becoming the new God of War - the title of the video game franchise of which he is the protagonist. Also betrayed by his father, his vindictive nature led him to destroy Mount Olympus. Tired of this trajectory of revenge and destruction, Kratos began to travel the world in search of a new life and, arriving in Scandinavia, changed his mind thanks to his second wife Laufey and, later, his son, Atreus. He was able to control his fury and act much more loving towards his son, but due to his warlike nature, after Laufey's death he had to face and fight monsters and gods of the Norse realm, grooming his reluctant son for the future as well.

Created by David Jaffe in 2005 and first seen on the PlayStation 2 and the Sony franchise, the iconic God of War video game saga has made Kratos one of the most popular characters of gaming pop culture, acclaimed by audiences and critics alike as one of the best new characters of the 2000s, earning adaptations in novels, comics and of course, his own line of collectible statues by Iron Studios .

Unveiled at the Sideshow Con virtual event, the statue depicts father and son, protagonists of the Norse God of War saga, and forms a diorama setting with the monstrous 'Ogre BDS Art Scale 1 statue: 10 - God of War', with the heroes facing the fearsome mythical creature.
