The MIM-104 Patriot is a surface-to-air missile (SAM) system deployed by the US Army and several allied nations.
The PAC-3 upgrade is a significant upgrade for almost every system component.
It was delivered in three phases, installed in 1995, 1996 and 2000, and the units were designated Configurations 1, 2 and 3.
