Air Inter was born in 1954 the refusal of French international airlines to invest in the development of internal lines.An internal network can not be that deficit.If the first attempt in 1958 in their favor in 1960, funded by local, Air Inter flies to success.

The concentration of French under the wings of Air France and the liberalization of European air cause the disappearance of Air Inter, merged on 1 April 1997 with Air France.

The foundations of Air Inter, simple service and spatiate, persist today.

They now provide the commercial success of airlines low fares, more commonly called Low Cost .
