Model kit Mercedes G230 Fire Brigade
The Mercedes-Benz G-Class (where G stands for Geländewagen, off-road vehicle) was developed by the German company during the seventies and was born through a collaboration agreement between Daimler-Benz and the Austrian Steyr-Daimler-Puch.
The "G" series was immediately characterized by being extremely robust, reliable and equipped with good off-road capabilities thanks to the constructive lay-out and 4x4 traction.
In its continuous evolutions, it is still one of the most long-lived models of the German company and its shapes have never changed radically, demonstrating the validity of the concept.
Among the most popular versions we can remember the Mercedes Benz G 230 that has obtained, during the years of production, a significant commercial success. It has also been the basis for special fittings to meet specific needs of use as the one dedicated to the Fire Brigade.
Scale : 1:24
The 1:24 scale is mainly used for models of cars, motorcycles and aircraft. It allows a high level of detail. For example, a motorcycle model in the 1:24 scale will measure 4 inches / 10.4 cm if the original motorcycle measures 2.5m in length (250/24 = 10.41). A plane in the 1:24 scale will measure 1 foot 6 inches / 45cm in length if the aircraft model is 11m long (1100-1124 = 45.8).
