The Bob body opponent punching bag is the perfect solution for boxing or martial arts practice. Now you can actually practice with a sparring Bob that doesn’t punch back. I like that! Seriously though, I am quite impressed with Bob the punching bag.

For example, a 170 lb male with a strong punch should work on a seventy pound punching bag, while a professional boxer of the same weight would need a one-hundred pound bag. A lightweight or featherweight boxer would typically utilize a forty pound heavy bag.

The typical leather bag is covered in thick leather, similar in thickness to proper motorcycle grade leather. This leather varies in thickness but is typically one quarter of an inch thick. This allows the bag to withstand many more hits, regardless of if the boxer using it is using bag gloves or boxing gloves. In fact, leather is the preferred material for mixed martial artists that are practicing striking without gloves for a tournament that uses such rules.

Swarmer / Pressure Fighter

As the name suggests, pressure fighters prefer to stay up close and in front of their opponents and throw a lot of powerful combinations to frustrate them, take them off their game, and wear them down for the big finish. While their style may be the same as the brawler / slugger, a pressure fighter is more defensively sound and a lot skillful than their brawling counterparts.

Pressure fighters can bob and weave, slip to the sides, and prefer to duck punches than block them. They also have to have a strong chin because they also tend to get hit a lot, although not as much as a brawler.

One remarkable pressure fighter is Mike Tyson. He always closes the distance between him and the other man and unleash flurries of power punches to keep the bout short and sweet.

The other consideration is how to properly hang a heavy bag. There are different types of mounts for leather heavy bags. Wall mounts are common in many boxing centers as are rafter mounts. For areas that either of these options is not practical, there are heavy bag stands as well.

If you are considering purchasing one, be sure to consider how to mount it, whether you need the additional expense of getting a leather bag as well as the correct weight for your weight and skill level. A heavy bag is a great investment for the person wishing to train in boxing

The Most Fun Sport Games to Date

We all have enjoyed sports at one time or another in our lives, sport is super fun, enjoyable, exciting and it gives you a superb bout of a healthy body, brain and soul. But which ones are the best known sports games? Why do people love them so much? Let’s take a brief look at the most popular games.

Football
Probably one of the best known sports in the world, countries come together whenever a football match is broadcast. Whether it’s the world cup or the champion’s league final, football is a truly exhilarating game to play and too watch.

Boxing
We have seen some great boxers come and go such as Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson and many more. Seeing two men stuck in a ring and throw punches is very entertaining, especially if they are of high quality. Performing boxing yourself may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but for most people stepping into the ring is a dream come true.

Golf
A game that almost anyone of any age can play. I remember visiting theme parks and playing crazy golf, the game can be very stress free and very exciting at the same moment. It’s a bit of the opposite of boxing, in golf you actually like to play the game rather than watch it on the television, which can be quite boring. Let’s face it, it’s hardly as enthralling as watching extreme sports performers hurtling down the mountain side on their snowboards is it?

Rugby
Another sport that is quite similar to football, a lot of people tend to support various rugby clubs and are keen to see them play every week. The pedigree of this sport has exploded immensely over the last 12 months.

F1 Racing
This is still undecided as to whether it is a sport or not. In my opinion how much fitness can you actually get from driving a car or a vehicle. There are a lot of people that do like watching F1, in my personal view I could not think of anything more tedious than sitting there and watching car zooming around. I would rather watch people going round the track on second hand bikes to be honest.
